What should I wear?

During the winter months we recommend you wear layers of clothes, a Dri fit t-shirt which will evaporate the sweat and keep you warm, fleece, light waterproof jacket, hat and gloves.

What if it is raining / bad weather?

We are outdoor fitness specialists, so we train in all weather conditions, but during severe conditions we will change the training so that the exercises are safe. If on the rare occasion the weather is too dangerous to train in, we will cancel the session and notify you by text.

If you wear the appropriate clothing there shouldn’t be a problem i.e. water proof jacket and a hat. The training sessions are designed to constantly keep you moving so this will increase your body temperature and you will not feel cold – if anything you will be taking layers off because you will be getting hot.

What makes A1 Fitness and Wellbeing different?

We specialise in fat loss, toning up and running outdoor small group personal training sessions, with a maximum of 4 people in a session. This means our trainers can spend more time with you checking your technique and making sure you are working to your maximum potential to see amazing results.

We emphasise making the sessions fun and challenging, we hold social events so you can get to know the other fitness buddies. This is a great way to get support from other members, which will help keep you motivated.

We will work with you to improve your nutrition and you will have motivational consultations every 6-8 weeks. We will also be monitoring your attendance record to make sure you are turning up for your sessions. If we notice low attendance we will work with you to get you back on track immediately.

I have an injury / medical condition. Can I still join the training sessions?

Before you start training we will ask you to answer some medical questions regarding your current and past medical conditions.

If you do have any medical conditions we will discuss this in more detail during your 1st consultation and we may require you to produce a medical clearance from your GP. Our trainers are very experienced and qualified to be able to offer alternative exercises if you are unable to perform certain moves due to an injury.

What happens during the complimentary session?

You will get a chance to work out in one of our group fat loss sessions. This is a great opportunity for you to experience what it’s like training with Enlite Fitness. After the session we will give advice on nutrition for fat loss, program training and overcoming psychological barriers.

This is also a great time for you to ask any questions about the training program and the company.
